やなせ たかし（本名: 柳瀬 嵩（読み同じ）、1919年2月6日 - ）は、高知県香美郡在所村（現香美市）出身の漫画家、絵本作家で、クリスチャンであます。後免野田組合小学校（現南国市立後免野田小学校）、高知県立高知城東中学校（現高知県立高知追手前高等学校）、東京高等工芸学校図案科（現千葉大学工学部）卒業。1941年に徴兵され、野戦重砲兵として日中戦争に出征します。終戦後帰国し、高知新聞記者、三越宣伝部のグラフィックデザイナーを経て漫画家となます。主に児童文学を手掛け、「アンパンマン」の生みの親として知られます。
香美市立やなせたかし記念館「アンパンマンミュージアム」が1996年7月に、同「詩とメルヘン絵本館」1998年8月に出身地である高知県香美市に開館しました。
